Blues Anatomy is a blues and R&B band comprised of very talented musicians, all Philadelphia area natives who have been on the Philly music scene for 25 years or more. Since 2007, Blues Anatomy has appeared at WXPN's World Cafe Live, the National Constitution Center, the Media Blues Stroll, the White's Road Park Concert Series in Lansdale PA, and various venues in and around Philadelphia. Last year, we had the good fortune to be invited by Aaron Levinson, a Grammy-winning producer, to be the backbone of his latest project, a tribute to an overlooked bluesman titled "Rediscovering Lonnie Johnson," featuring guitarist Jef Lee Johnson. It was released nationally in March 2008 to very favorable reviews.
