The Hurricane Blues Band got together in 1990 after a few jam sessions. Based in Shepparton, the band was a regular at the SunFM Supershows, Pippins Wine Bar, and the Blues Club, The Band also did numerous 'live to air' performances for OneFM and the public radio network, gaining a loyal following during the early 1990's. A highlight of The Bands career was playing at the 1992 Melbourne Blues Festival and getting rave reviews. When a few members moved away from the area, The Band decided to take a break, but now everybody is starting to think that 15 years is a long enough 'REST', so the good news is, The Hurricane Blues Band is back, bigger, better, wiser, yeah, OK and older.
